These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at awesomecleanings.com(the "Site") and the cleaning services provided by Awesome Cleaning ("Awesome Cleaning," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We offer residential and commercial cleaning services within a 15-mile radius of downtown Chicago, IL. Specific services, scope, and pricing are described on our Services page and confirmed at booking. We may decline service at our discretion (e.g., unsafe conditions, areas outside our service zone).
2. Booking & Pricing
- Online pricing and booking are handled by our partner BookingKoala.
- Quoted prices assume conditions described at booking. Significant differences (e.g., far heavier soil, larger-than-stated property, biohazards) may require an adjusted price; we will communicate changes before proceeding.
- Recurring service prices may be adjusted annually with reasonable notice.
3. Access to Your Property
You agree to provide safe and timely access at the scheduled time. If we cannot reach the property, a lock-out fee equal to 50% of the quoted service may apply. Please secure pets and inform us of any special instructions in advance.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- 24 hours or more notice: no charge.
- Less than 24 hours: a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted service may apply.
- Same-day or no-show: the full quoted amount may be charged.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the methods listed in our booking portal. Past-due invoices may accrue late fees consistent with Illinois law.
6. Satisfaction & Re-Cleans
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of a completed service, contact us within 24 hours. We will return to address the specific issue at no additional charge. This guarantee does not apply to areas excluded from your service or items beyond the scope agreed at booking.
7. Damage & Liability
We carry general liability insurance and train our team to handle your space with care. Please notify us within 48 hours of any claimed damage. Our maximum liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount paid for that service, except where prohibited by law.
We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage, ordinary wear and tear, or items not in working order before our visit.
- Damage caused by improper installation of items in the home (e.g., loose hardware, unsecured shelves).
- Items declared as having sentimental or unusually high value unless we have agreed in writing to special handling.
8. Tipping & Gratuities
Tips are appreciated but never expected. They are passed entirely to your cleaning crew.
9. Use of the Website
The content on this Site (text, photos, branding) is the property of Awesome Cleaning or used with permission. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Republishing, scraping, or reverse-engineering is not permitted.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Site and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
